RENATA KAMOLA – president

Graduate of Maria Curie Sklodowska University’s Cultural Management MA Programme; a long-time volunteer involved in the “Theatre Confrontations” International Festival; worked numerous times at Edinburg’s Fringe Festival and co-organised “ZdaErzenia” (“In/Accidents”) – The Festival of Alternative Culture. Since 2008 she has been employed by “Crossroads” – the Centre For Intercultural Initiatives where she is in charge of the following international projects: KODY (CODES) – The Festival of Traditional and Avant-garde Music, “The Oldest Songs of Europe” Festival, and Experimental Music Stage. She is also responsible for fund-raising, obtaining institutional grants as well as for international cooperation. For ten years, she has been performing under the stage name of DJ Disko, as a founding member of Śmierć Disko Sound(s) – a DJ collective defiantly exploring the sonic Other.


Graduate of Maria Curie Sklodowska University’s English Department; Wonder Woman and Kaiser’s peace-loving Wunderwaffe.

BARTOSZ WÓJCIK – board member

Bartosz Wójcik is a literary critic, translator and cultural manager. He holds a PhD in literature and specialises in the cultures of the Caribbean. Author of “Afro-Caribbean Poetry in English: Cultural Traditions (1970s-2000s)” published by Peter Lang in 2015. Works at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin.
