“Sinus Balticus is an album about the geographic and metaphorical “space” of the North and the Baltic Sea. Inspired by the landscape and it’s sounds, by the place where the land meets the sea and by the state of mind when you look far away and see water up to the horizon. The image of the sea and it’s constant motion resonates: thoughts are released, imagination opens. The archaic movement of water and words such as “deep”, “abyss” carry legends, stories and myths. Perhaps the abyss hides unknown creatures. I try to capture the unique atmosphere of the North through the language of music.” Marcin Dymiter
